About Ali Finer

Ali Finer is passionate about helping companies tell their story.

With a diverse marketing and public relations background, Ali has worked for and with brands including Ford Motor Company, MCI, Discovery Communications and The Mayo Clinic.

With more than ten years in communications, Ali has implemented strategic public relations programs for companies in the technology, healthcare, entertainment and lifestyle industries. As a GoodPR team member, she is currently spreading the word about A Part of Something Big, an inspired fund-raising company designed to do something for the greater good.

Ali’s prides herself on building and maintaining strong relationships with the media to help garner her clients media coverage in their target publications. She has secured articles for clients in local and national publications, as well as industry trade magazines.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Ali served as a senior account executive at Padilla Speer Beardsley, a full-service branding and public relations agency in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Previously, she held the position of manager of publicity for Discovery Networks. In this role, she managed consumer and industry trade outreach for several of Discovery’s networks.

Ali received her bachelor of arts degree in Communications from The Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). In her spare time, Ali volunteers at a local non-profit that helps women struggling with addiction, homelessness or mental illness get their lives back on track.

Ali is based in Minneapolis with her husband, Tad and their son, Sam and daughter, Hadley.
